Jacaranda Blue
Poem #56
Bendita Jacaranda! sweet, delicate and undulating floating down from the clouds ephemeral and impermanent purple blue melancholy in her fall conjures memories of bittersweet days gone by my small mountain town a different time, another life a tale of love lost and found when I tried to root myself a foreigner in familiar lands but just like spring flowers it was never meant to last... here and now, I pray as I behold petals and blooms upon my path won't you guide me back to simpler times? -TEO

Thank you for this beautiful poem! A giant jacaranda smiles at me every morning and I too, feel a nostalgia for simpler times in the mountain town, forever in our hearts.
Just taking in the beauty of the present.
