Sacred Compost
Poem #48
Take all the grief and the rage, the pain of rejection, the frustration the wound of uncertainty, the unpleasantness that heaviness you carry on your neck exhaling the tightness in your chest releasing what didn't work what is now broken everything you deem and label "negative" whatever hurts you the most, the impotence the bitterness you taste along with the medicine the overthinking and ruminating sleepless nights, anxious mornings go ahead and take it off from your body, no longer carry it in your heart no need for it to occupy your mind write it down into a poem or an essay draw a map out of the labyrinth crumple it up and tear it apart like old news soak it in water and set it free offer it with deep reverence to the roots of your favorite tree then watch it transform into more beauty for this world -TEO
